NANJING, China, July 14, 2020 – Whale Cloud today announced that it has signed up for TM Forum’s Open API & Open Digital Architecture (ODA) Manifesto, joining global Communication Service Providers (CSPs) and suppliers to accelerate the development of an open, modern, software-based technology architecture that enables new operating and business models.
Market saturation, dramatic growth in data consumption and fast-changing customer expectations have triggered a massive shift in telecom industry and placed continuous pressure on operating costs and operational agility. The industry needs to embrace a loosely coupled, cloud native, data and AI-driven architecture with standard components which can be easily deployed.
TM Forum’s Open API & ODA Manifesto initiative has successfully paved the way for the industry to fundamentally rethink how to design, build and operate the systems required to deliver the operating agility, cost base and customer experience required to successfully monetize 5G and thrive in the 2020s.
By signing this manifesto, Whale Cloud is providing our support to the design principles and essential standards required to enable a truly ‘plug and play’ set of technology capabilities for service providers to deliver intelligent operations fit for the 5G and IoT era, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI).
“Whale Cloud is pleased to be a signatory to the Open API and Open Digital Architecture Manifesto and to continue collaborating on defining these standards,” said Zhengcang Xiao, CTO of Whale Cloud International. “We will keep providing ODA complaint, cost-effective, flexible solutions to enable our customers to accelerate business innovation in a “try and buy, fast and cheap” approach.”
