London, UK, November 12, 2020 Whale Cloud, a leading technology company providing software solutions and services for telecommunications and multiple industries, announced today that the Business Operating System (BOS) project, in which Whale Cloud is a key participant, has won the “Outstanding Catalyst-Innovation” award from TM Forum during Digital Transformation World Series from October 7 – November 12. The 7 Catalyst projects were selected as outstanding ones out of 32 projects by the Forum and a panel of independent judges for their significant contributions to the acceleration of digital transformation throughout the industry.
The BOS Catalyst Project focuses on creating reference implementations for standard Open Digital Architecture (ODA) components, to unlock industry growth by delivering the framework, tools and code to significantly reduce time-to-market and operating costs, enable federation, and deliver the best possible digital experience. Using Canvas, Component and other ODA concepts, the BOS catalyst showcased a practical implementation of use cases, including online charging, usage management, usage-buckets while implementing a meta-data in product catalog to drive the order capture and orchestration processes. The product catalog productized blockchain-based infrastructure and contracted management components where the use cases were consumed across multiple channels to provide a consistent user experience.
