In October 2021, Whale Cloud jointly hosted the Challenge on Hack Mini Program Super App in Colombia with Universidad de La Sabana, Alipay, and Claro Colombia, to bring the technology of mini programs to the Americas, and inspire the younger generation to understand, practice, and experience the unlimited possibilities of mini programs.

Mini program is an open, innovative, and lightweight mobile application that runs inside another larger application. It allows users to get all sorts of services at their fingertips and brands to have access to a flourishing platform for customer acquisition.

The event attracted a large number of college students, and five teams entered the finals after fierce competition. Under the professional training from Whale Cloud, Alipay, and Claro Colombia, they completed amazing works on mPaaS provided by Whale Cloud in just two weeks.

Their works are close to campus life and solve campus issues, such as social activities, carpooling, take-out, and psychological counseling. Their efforts have shown us the great potential of using min-programs to create better campus life and social life.
