Under the partnership, Whale Cloud brings its mature ZSmart suite of Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operations Support Systems (OSS) products built on a cloud-native architecture, designed to support modern telecom operations with high scalability, flexibility, and reliability. With extensive global deployments and deep telecom domain expertise, Whale Cloud enables operators to accelerate digital transformation, streamline operations, and rapidly launch new digital services and business models.
Axonect brings proven telco-grade integration and orchestration expertise through its Gartner, TM Forum, and GSMA-recognized platform suite, including Fabric, its unified DevOps and integration platform, pre-integrated with Whale Cloud’s ZSmart suite to ensure seamless interoperability. In addition, Axonect will extend its ultra-low-latency API Manager with MCP server and AI gateway, and its Telco Digital Marketplace to accelerate partner onboarding and enable scalable digital monetization.
By combining Whale Cloud solutions with Axonect’s deep integration experience, the partnership delivers a comprehensive and low-risk transformation approach for telecom operators. Operators benefit from faster system deployment, smoother integration with existing platforms, and significantly shortened time-to-market for new digital services.
“Telecom operators are under increasing pressure to modernize their IT and network operations quickly, while controlling risk and complexity,” said Jacky Chen Jiang, CEO of Whale Cloud International. “By partnering with Axonect, we are able to combine our cloud-native BSS/OSS capabilities with strong local integration expertise. This allows operators to move faster from strategy to implementation and achieve tangible results in their digital transformation programs.”
“The telecom industry is entering a new phase of AI-driven operationalization where agility and ecosystem interoperability are critical,” said Loh John Wu, Chief Operating Officer, of Axonect. “By joining forces with Whale Cloud, we are combining complementary strengths to help operators modernize leveraging AI (without rip-and-replace transformation), monetize and unlock new growth while delivering unparalleled value to their customers.”
The collaboration between Whale Cloud and Axonect is now progressing from a shared strategic vision into concrete execution. The two companies are actively working together on delivery and implementation, with initial breakthroughs already underway in the Southeast Asian market. These early projects mark an important transition from planning to action and demonstrate the practical value of the partnership in real operator environments.
Looking ahead, Whale Cloud and Axonect will maintain close alignment in their product roadmaps and technology evolution. Both parties are committed to synchronizing future product enhancements and integration capabilities, gradually forming standardized solution frameworks that can be efficiently adapted to the digital transformation needs of telecom operators across different markets.
