Whale Container | Cloud-Native Container Platform

Why Whale Container?

Underlying Multi-Cloud Adaptation

Provide multi-cloud adaptation and access for IaaS-level resources by masking differences in underlying infrastructure, enabling cross-domain resource sharing and scheduling

Flexible Elastic Scaling

Support various elastic scaling strategies, such as time-based, resource-based, and business metric-based strategies, to automatically assess and quickly trigger scaling of cloud applications/services, allowing for smooth handling of business changes

Zero Downtime for Business

Automatically detect anomalies in business system hosts or application containers, and independently schedule and restart the affected containers to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 business operations

Simplified O&M for Cost Reduction and Efficiency Improvement

Transform traditional manual operations and maintenance tasks for container application publishing, deployment, and upgrading into advanced one-click operations, reducing manual costs, minimizing errors, and improving maintenance efficiency

Business Scenario

Simplify Microservice Architecture Deployment

As enterprises systems grow increasingly complex, traditional architectures fail to meet business demands, leading to the adoption of microservices. Container platforms offer a highly flexible, scalable, and reliable modern deployment solution for microservices, serving as a vital foundation for cloud-native applications.

Automated deployment
Service isolation and independence
Resource optimization
High availability and elasticity

Accelerate DevOps Implementation

Integrating container technology streamlines DevOps practices, fostering closer collaboration between development, testing, and operations teams. This accelerates software delivery and enhances both application stability and security.

Consistent development environment
Resource isolation and optimization
Rapid build and deployment
Better enforcement of security policies
Automated processes for code commit, build, testing, and deployment

Heterogeneous Resource Adaptation and Scheduling

In large enterprise private clouds or data centers, managing diverse resources (like VMware vSphere or OpenStack) can be challenging. Container platforms simplify this by integrating and abstracting these heterogeneous IaaS resources, enabling seamless cross-domain resource sharing and unified scheduling. This facilitates on-demand resource allocation and dynamic scaling for applications and services.
