Agreements signed during WAIC 2026 target the deployment of a combined 550 robots by the end of 2027, with an estimated aggregate cooperation value of CNY 200 million

NANJING, Aug. 20, 2026 — Ansrobex, an embodied AI joint venture co-founded by Whale Cloud, Nanjing NII Group and AGIBOT, today announced three strategic cooperation agreements signed during the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) in Shanghai.

The agreements bring together Ansrobex with Argus Tecnologias, a connected-vehicle technology company serving Mexico and Latin America; ForteBank, a digital bank in Kazakhstan; and TAG Media, a Kazakhstan-based digital media company.

The partnerships will focus on deploying intelligent robots in real-world commercial settings and expanding access to regional markets. Under the agreements, the parties aim to support the combined deployment of 550 robots by the end of 2027, representing an estimated aggregate cooperation value of CNY 200 million.

A Scenario-Driven Approach to Embodied AI

Competition in the upstream hardware segment of embodied AI is intensifying, with significant product homogeneity. Ansrobex will work with its partners to validate and scale applications in commercial environments. Real-world deployments will generate industry data and operational insight that can be used to improve environmental perception, human-robot interaction, autonomous navigation and other core capabilities.

Each partner will contribute local-market knowledge and industry resources to help bring embodied AI solutions into specific applications across financial services, media, live events, entertainment and other commercial sectors.
