NANJING, China, March 14, 2022 - At MWC22 Barcelona on March 2, Iván Cairo, General Manager of Whale Cloud Alliances Business Unit, and Tommy Ge, General Manager of Alibaba Cloud DACH, NLD, LUX & East Europe, were invited by GSMA to deliver a joint speech titled "Cloud-Key to CSP (Communication Service Provider) Digital Transformation" in its official session. Together with global operators and industry leaders, the speech explores how "Cloud" can play a huge role in CSPs' digital transformation journey.
According to the speech, we enter an ideal digital world in the 5G era. The increasing digitalization demands require more essential IaaS services, and traditional stack solutions are limited in service offering. In response to customers’ growing demands on digital transformation, Alibaba Cloud has launched Apsara Stack, which provides a full range of cloud services supported by leading computing technologies. In addition, Whale Cloud has teamed up with Alibaba Cloud on a joint hybrid cloud solution named Digital 2.0 Framework to support CSP's digital transformation.
The joint solution offers Apsara Stack / ZStack and Cloud Revenue Engine. It also provides a proven on-prem cloud business operation suite, enabling CSPs to build their clouds for internal business support or build services for large-scale innovation. On top of the technology infrastructure, we provide various cloud-native applications, ranging from Telecom SaaS, Vertical Apps, Content Offering/Management, and Managed Services.
