As a key municipal state-owned enterprise in Nanjing and an important driving force for the city’s industrial economy, Nanjing NII Group has established a robust supply chain system, complete machine manufacturing capabilities and strong industrial collaboration resources in the advanced equipment manufacturing sector. The company will provide critical manufacturing support and local supply chain integration capabilities for the joint venture, supporting the large-scale production and delivery of robot bodies and creating a solid industrial foundation for the commercialization of technological achievements.
The cooperation will take the industry joint venture as its core platform to connect the full value chain of embodied intelligence, covering development, verification, deployment, and operations & maintenance (O&M). The joint venture will serve as a hub for technology commercialization, ecosystem collaboration and talent development, with the ambition of becoming an industry benchmark for the commercialization of embodied intelligence and a catalyst for regional industrial empowerment.
The joint venture will integrate robot software and hardware capabilities with local manufacturing resources to build large-scale and end-to-end machine delivery capabilities, while developing self-owned robot products and solutions. At the same time, it will carry out dataset construction and iterative training of embodied large models to accumulate proprietary model assets. The joint venture will also provide end-to-end solutions for diverse scenarios, including industrial applications, security, logistics, healthcare and government services, accelerating the large-scale adoption of embodied intelligence technologies across industries.
Leveraging its integrated industrial layout and accumulated capabilities, the joint venture will play a leading role in the embodied intelligence industry chain. By connecting with organizations and initiatives such as the Nanjing Embodied Intelligence Industry Alliance and city-level innovation programs for embodied intelligence commercialization, it will build a benchmark local robotics brand that is “made in Nanjing and shared globally,” helping Nanjing seize strategic opportunities in the development of the embodied intelligence industry and further strengthen its regional industrial competitiveness.

As embodied intelligence enters “Deployment Year One,” this cooperation marks a high-level synergy among the three parties’ core capabilities in technology, manufacturing and application scenarios. Looking ahead, Whale Cloud will continue to pursue innovation-driven development, fully leverage its strengths in full-stack digital intelligence technologies and deep industry scenario expertise, and promote the application of embodied intelligence technologies across a wide range of industries, jointly creating a new blueprint for digital intelligence development.
