NANJING, China, November 18, 2021- Whale Cloud, a leading technology company providing software solutions and services for telecommunications and multiple other industries, recently joined forces with Universidad de La Sabana, Alipay, and Claro Colombia, to hold the Challenge on Hack Mini Program Super APP in Colombia, which aims to inspire the younger generation to understand, practice, and experience the unlimited possibilities of mini programs.
Mini program is an open, innovative, and lightweight mobile application that runs inside another larger application. It allows users to get all sorts of services at their fingertips and brands to have access to a flourishing platform for customer acquisition.
After the professional training from Whale Cloud, Alipay, and Claro Colombia, the students from Universidad de La Sabana have designed and developed mini programs that solve practical issues in campus life within two weeks. Mobile Platform as a Service (mPaaS) provided by Whale Cloud enables participants to develop, test, operate, and maintain all kinds of mini programs with ease. Their works span social activities, carpooling, take-out, psychological counseling, etc., and their efforts have shown us the great potential of using mini programs to create better campus life and social life.
“By engaging students in hands-on experiences and reflection, they are better able to connect theories and knowledge learned in the classroom to real-world situations. Thanks to all the event sponsors for their powerful technology support,” said Jenny Robayo Gómez, Computer Engineering Program Director, Universidad de La Sabana.
