TM Forum’s Excellence Awards have recognized the world’s leading companies for their inventive achievements spanning digital transformation, business and IT agility, customer centricity, cross-industry partnering and collaboration, and product and service innovation.
Whale Cloud and China Telecom were named a finalist for the digital transformation project of BSS/OSS cloudification. The successful large-scale migration to the cloud helped China Telecom achieve the goals of cloud-native IT and network, systematic methodology, and zero-touch partnering ecosystem, and has delivered the capabilities to various customers. By adopting TM Forum core assets and cloud-native technologies, China Telecom has developed an innovative Digital Enablement Platform to eliminate the challenges generated by the legacy architecture, assure its business growth in a high-efficiency, secure and controllable manner in the digital transformation journey. The project also helped China Telecom accumulate cloudification standards and develop the methodology to empower employees and partners with better capabilities, facilitate China Telecom’s business innovation and drive its future sustainability.
